Facebook

Chrissy Teigen, Twitter goddess and cookbook queen, just posted the sweetest picture of her daughter and husband.

Sort of.

In the adorable photo that Teigen captioned “Luna and daddy,” her daughter chills on on some bright pink lawn furniture while holding a stuffed Arthur doll. Can it get any cuter?

Lawmakers send bipartisan letter to Google asking it to end partnership with Huawei

Facebook

Google’s got mail.

Lawmakers from the Senate and House sent a letter today to Google boss Sundar Pichai asking him to reconsider the company’s relationship with Chinese smartphone company Huawei.

The letter argued that the relationship posed a serious national security threat. “Chinese telecommunications companies, such as Huawei, have extensive ties with the Chinese Communist Party,” reads the letter that has bipartisan signatures.

“The concerns of the Intelligence Community are well founded: recent reports indicate that a former U.S. intelligence officer charged with spying for the Chinese government used Huawei technology to communicate with his handlers.” …

Dad cons his way into getting a nice table at a booked restaurant

Facebook

Legal or not, sometimes all it takes is a quick catfish to get what you want.

After trying to book a table at a restaurant and being told there were no availabilities, a father did the only logical thing: He pretended to be a prime minister of a foreign country. And apparently, it worked.

“My dad wanted to make a reservation at a restaurant and they told him that they were completely booked, minutes later he called back claiming to be the prime minister of Morocco …,” @…

Facebook

Instagram’s YouTube competitor is finally here.

Unlike YouTube, all the videos are vertical and videos in the IGTV app will start playing as soon as you launch it.

Trump told Apple CEO Tim Cook that the U.S. would not levy tariffs on iPhones

Facebook

There’s a big question mark over how President Trump’s trade war with China will impact iPhone lovers. And things just got even murkier.

President Trump continued to escalate his trade war with China on Monday when he threatened to levy tariffs on an additional $200 million worth of Chinese goods — which in turn prompted retaliatory threats from China. That should have Apple very worried, considering that iPhones depend on importing and exporting in both directions.

But apparently, President Trump recently reassured Apple CEO Tim Cook and told him not to worry. An anonymous source told the …

Guy at World Cup lights his cigarette with a literal flaming wallet

Facebook

There’s something admirable about the fiery passion that World Cup fans have.

In some cases, it’s literal fire.

A fan at the World Cup lit his cigarette with a FLAMING WALLET. Yes, you read that right. He lit it with cigarette with a whole wallet that lights on fire.

To quote the Fox Sports commentator, “Oh good lord, son!”

The commentator continued: “That is so unhealthy for you on multiple levels.”

As the Independent …
